Research On Music Genres

Rock:

• Dark colours and blacks are common for rockstar style. If you have a large percentage of bright colours, look to pair them with darks for balance. Repurpose clothes. If you have plaid shirts, wear them loosely with a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Pop:

• Choose bright colours. Lots of pop stars feature looks that were popular in the 1980s. This means lots of neon colours and bold prints. You don't have to worry about wearing too many different prints or bright colours

Drum And Bass:

  The drum-and-bass revival has been manifesting over the past few years in the DJ world. “It's very common to hear D&B out, and with increasing frequency,” says New Yorker DJ Voices (Kristin Malossi), who plays regularly at venues such as Nowadays and Good Room. 

It tells me the genre because of their clothes, apperance and background.
